It’s been a crazy summer!Packed with a ton of travel and extensive work on the forthcoming booked that revolves around Expedition Denali it’s been a challenge keeping pace on all the incredible new films and books that are hitting the adventure media space in2013. And now that we’re officially into fall the flow of stories is going to get kicked up another notch this weekend with the selections and events that will be presented at this year’s Adventure Film Festival in Boulder, Colorado.

After the devastating floods that hit the region over the past several weeks it’ll be great to check in the tribe of athletes and artists on the cutting edge of adventure movie making. With a big line-up of guest speakers, world-class photographers and some of the most exciting films for screens big and small this will be an event not to miss. Tune into the Joy Trip Project media stream via the usual channels to get the latest updates.

The Joy Trip Project is made possible thanks to the generous support of MAKO Surgical Corp. If you experience chronic hip or knee pain it might be time for a replacement. Ask your doctor if you’re a candidate for MAKOPlasty. I’m glad I did.MAKO_logo_TM
