Adventure Film 2012 in Boulder – The Joy Trip Project

The 2012 Adventure Media season continues this fall with the ninth annual Adventure Film Festival October 4-6 in Boulder Colorado! Presented by Patagonia, this three-day event offers up an amazing array of the latest outdoor sport and environmental conservation inspired movies at the Boulder Theater. The weekend festivities also include a Community Night kick-off party Thursday at the Boulder Patagonia store with film previews, music, snacks and beer from the New Belgium Brewing Company.
The Joy Trip Project will be on the scene to deliver end to end coverage of this celebration of the active lifestyle. Special events and art installations will round out a cultural extravaganza with the Senses of Adventure interactive gallery at the Prana store, the Outside Adventure Film School presented by Michael Brown of Serac Films at REI, a photography workshop with expert instructors and a commemorative photo exhibit in tribute to Adventure Film Fest founder Jonny Copp at Amante Coffee.
Adventure Film’s exciting line-up of movies is selected from over 400 entries submitted from 15 different countries. The festival will feature the 2012 award winners on a World Tour that reached 26,000 people last year in several major US cities, France, Chile, Australia, Vienna, Belgium, Hong Kong, Singapore, Taiwan and Nepal.
The complete list of festival films will be out soon! Visit www.adventurefilm.org
